Green Lane Community Special School

Important notice

We had a fantastic day on Friday, organised by Mrs Mullineux, as part of the Key 103 fundraising day. DJ Mike Toolan, Georgia May Foot from Coronation Street and pop star Shayne Ward came in a helicopter that landed on our school field. Apparently, the helicopter is the one Alex Ferguson from Manchester United uses to travel to matches! Staff and students donated money to dress up in fancy dress. The last time we heard, "Cash for Kids" had raised over £90,000 and Green Lane School staff and students are very proud to have helped raise it. Take a look at the gallery and see what fun we had!

Welcome to Green Lane Community Special School. Our aim is to help our children become responsible citizens who can make a positive contribution to society. Staff at Green Lane work together with our children to encourage them to become as independent as possible, to achieve a range of qualifications / awards / certificates and be prepared for transfer to the next phase of their lives.
