Children in need challenge

6th December 2016

On Thursday 17th November staff and pupils from Green Lane School and Warrington Wolves charitable foundation completed a ‘Rowathon’ as part of our fundraising efforts for Children in Need. The challenge was to keep two rowing machines continuously rowing for 12 hours from 8.15am until 8.15pm. Mr M King  and Craig from the Wolves got the event under way by completing the first hour before handing over to the children and staff from GLS. The row was eventually completed by members of the Wolves Foundations youth club and football clubs.
