Date: 2nd July 2014

Join Green Lane School and Woolston Six Form in fundraising

for 39 pupils in an African School, Ms Nomfundo Mila’s Grade 1 class. This school has over 1100 pupils but no communication, technology and few facilities. These children are in a great need of learning resources. Their class is in an urgent need of repair, currently they have leaks and a concrete floor with no studying resources or materials. Most of the children live in Mzamomhle township where unemployment, poverty, abuse, HIV/AIDS and drug abuse are high.

How can we make a difference?

Participate in the planned fundraising events taking place in school or college and encourage our young people to do so.
Fundraise in your community.
Make a donation, big or small - every pound counts and every pound makes a difference.
Every effort we make will help improve the education and the lives of these pupils.
Joy de Smidt from Woolston Sixth Form College will be visiting the school in the last week of July and will report back in September.
