Superheroes
We have been reading superhero stories as part of our literacy topic. We have been talking about the stories, deciding what super powers we would like and designing and making our own superhero capes.

Aliens Love Underpants
We have been reading this story in literacy. We loved it. We have been learning about Earth, painted aliens and made our own spaceships and rockets to travel into outer space.

Maths
This term we have been recognising numbers and practising our counting. We have worked really hard. We have also been looking at comparing objects according to their size.
Forest School
This term we have been taking part in Forest School. We have been exploring our woodland area, finding mini-beasts and taking turns to look at the trees and the sky in the hammock. We have had a brilliant time.
R.E.
In R.E we have been looking at different forms of meditation. We have been sitting quietly and focusing on our breathing and also tried some yoga.

We have been learning about pulse. We have used drums, shakers and wooden blocks to create fast and slow pulses.

Self-Portraits
We painted a self-portrait of ourselves for our class wall. We looked carefully at our selves and chose the correct colours for our hair and eyes
This term we have looked at patterns. We looked for them in our environment and then made our own using different objects. We have also been sorting and classifying different objects into groups. We had some great ideas of our own to sort the objects.
