In Dormouse class this half term, we have been taking part in Horticulture lessons. We have helped with the maintenance of the horticulture area, but also labelled different plants and areas. We have also tasted different herbs and planted our own onions!
Science
We have been working on all things forces in science this half term. We have loved linking this with our class topic of space! We have made our own rockets and balloons, as well as exploring push and pull forces, including what gravity is. We particular enjoyed making paper aeroplanes and testing them from the top windows! We also carried out experiments linked to forces and how they can be affected by different surfaces.

In DT and Geography we have been focussing on transport and wheels! We have identified lots of different types of transport and looked at how they moved. We also got creative, making our own wheeled transport models. Our favourite activity was building tracks to use wheeled transport on!
