Grasshopper class have been exploring the topic of “bears” in the spring term. We have enjoyed listening to a range of bear stories and in particular enjoyed the sensory story of ‘we’re going on a bear hunt’. Super work Grasshopper class.  

Food Technology

Grasshopper class have took part in food technology lessons this term. Grasshopper class followed visual instructions to get the equipment they need e.g. bowl and spoon. Grasshopper class learned how to chop vegetables with support and had fun mixing ingredients to make Easter cakes.

Grasshopper class have enjoyed their phonics lessons this term. Grasshopper class have listened to and recognised both environmental and instrumental sounds. Super work Grasshopper class!

Grasshopper class have enjoyed learning about the farm this term. Grasshopper class enjoyed exploring farm themed sensory trays, driving the tractor through the mud and recognising farm animals and their sounds. Grasshopper class joined in with familiar songs such as; old macdonald had a farm and the dingle dangle scarecrow. Great work Grasshopper class!

Grasshopper class dressed up as their favourite characters for World Book Day. Well done Grasshopper class you all looked fantastic!
