Butterfly Class is a Keystage 1 class, on the Elm pathway. We follow a topic based curriculum and use the SCERTS approach.  We enjoy learning inside and outside through 1:1 work, choose activities, OT circuits and sensory activities.  Please ensure your child has spare clothing in their bag as we often get messy.

Each Child will have a home school communication book where parents can communicate with the class teaching team about their child’s day.

Snack – Butterfly Class have snack twice a day to support communication, symbol exchange and SCERTS.  If you would like your child to have toast and juice this is payable on parentpay on a weekly basis at a cost of £2.  If, you wish your child to bring their own snack they may do so.

We also take part in shopping trips and library visits to TESCO or Lymm Library.  At TESCO we buy our additional snack and food stuff for our food technology sessions, whilst there we visit the café. When we visit the Library we then visit to the community café.  We therefore request a voluntary contribution of £2 a week to cover costs.

PE takes place every Wednesday afternoon, please send in your child wearing PE clothing.
