Welcome back to a brand new year in Hawk class! Mr Garrod and Miss Barker hope that you all had a great summer holiday!
Hawk class is a Key Stage 4 class compromising of year 10 and year 11 students. During your time in Hawk class you will have the opportunity to learn new skills, experience the world of work and leisure industries.
Throughout the year, pictures will be shared via Evidence for Learning where you will be able to see all the wonderful things we have been getting up to. In Hawk class, some of the lessons will be taught by different teachers and you may have to go to a different room.
Pupils are invited to bring a healthy snack in to school with them to have at break time and we also recommend them to bring in a water bottle that can be refilled throughout the day with fresh water.
PE will be on a Tuesday and pupils can come in to school in their PE kit. Please ensure that you have appropriate kit on especially during the winter months.
Maths and English homework will be given out on a Friday and is expected to be handed in on the following Friday as well as weekly spellings.
Home communication books will be allocated to each pupil. This is used for parents/guardians to share upcoming appointments and/or any other information about their child. Please ensure that these are brought in to school each day.
