Family Support/Safeguarding
Our role in school is to provide support, advice and information to the families within our school community. We can help you with any worries that you may have in relation to your child's education, behaviour and well being. We are also here as someone to talk to if you need it!
We can meet with you at home or in school at a time to suit yourself.
Advice and support is confidential, although concerns relating to the safeguarding of
children will always be dealt with in accordance with the school's Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy. We may not have all the answers, but hopefully we can help you to work out how to find them!
Many of our families benefit from the support of Early Help, this ranges from respite, housing to specialist support with children with disabilities/SEN. Please see the below description and link for further information;
The purpose of Early Help is to prevent any issues from getting worse by offering support at the right time. Any professionals working with your family, such as those based in schools, health services, and in voluntary sector organisations, can offer Early Help services as soon as they can see that advice, support and/or intervention may be needed.
Early Help works best when it is offered to the whole family and when services are delivered jointly by professionals. Early Help is everyone’s business.
