Poppy Class is a Key Stage 2 class of Year 4, 5 and Year 6 pupils. In Poppy Class, we follow a modified National Curriculum and pupils will have access to all core subjects and topic lessons. We will have PE with on a Tuesday morning and pupils are welcome to wear PE kits on this day. Reading books will be changed weekly, and we would recommend reading as often as possible at home.

Please check EFL regularly as we will keep you updated with many exciting activities that we have done in Poppy class! Each child will have a school-home book, which will be returned home to the pupils each night. This book will be used to keep you updated with what the children have done each day and can be used for parents to communicate messages to the Poppy Class team.

We enjoy toast as we arrive at school! This is at a cost of £1.50 each week, which can be paid alongside snack money via parent pay. We also ask that your child brings a water bottle to class each day and brings spare clothes in their bag.
