Autumn 1

The children in Draagonfly class have settled into school really well.  They have learned new routines, visited the Sensory room and enjoyed PE with Warrington Wolves.  Dragonfly have got used to new adults and new children and have been developing their friendships and play skills.

Dragonfly have enjoyed their topic learning of colour and have particularly enjoyed singing the song I can sing a rainbow and sharing the stories Brown Bear, Brown Bear and Mouse paint.

Autumn 2  - Dragonfly Class Website blurb

This half term our topic has been about space.  We have enjoyed sharing stories such as That’s not my rocket, Suki Cat astronaut, 10 little aliens and whatever next.  We have learnt about what astronauts need in space, the name of the plants and explored constellations.  We have used the light box and made the glow in the dark star’s shine by using a torch.  We have also looked at making our own shadows.

As a class we have also taken part in Odd socks day for anti—bulling week and learned how to be kind. We have also learned how to cross the road in safely in road safety week and taken part in children in need and the march of the elephants.
