This half term Hedgehog class have completed work around their topic of under the sea. They have used a range of communication skills to identify different sea creatures and describe the colours of the different sea creatures. They have also used the interactive screen to match pictures of sea creatures to their names.

The pupils have also taken part in weekly horticulture sessions, picking fruits off the fruit trees, tasting them, and using the apples they collected to make fresh apple juice. They also planted some bulbs and flowers ready to grow in the polly tunnel ready for spring. They also took part in weekly watering of the plants to help them grow.

Within Maths the pupils have been looking at shapes, sorting shapes in to different groups and using shapes and objects to copy and create different patterns.

Within topic the pupils have looked at pollution and the different types of pollution that effects our oceans. They completed a floating and sinking activity seeing which type of pollution floats and which one sinks. They also completed a litter picking activity, using tweezers to pick the litter out of the sand sensory tray.
