Hello and a warm welcome to the Buttercup class!

This year, Buttercup Class is a KS1/KS2 class of 7 year 2 and year 3 pupils.

PE

PE is on a Monday morning with the Wolves. Children should wear their PE kits to school on Mondays if possible.

Homework

Homework is set every Friday to be handed in by the following Friday. Depending on what we have been learning in class, this might include Maths or English, spellings, phonics or topic-based work.

Snacks and toast

Children are provided with a piece of fruit at break time, but you are welcome to send in an alternative. Toast is £1.50 a week. A choice of biscuits or breadsticks are available at snack time in the afternoon for 50p a week.

Spare clothes

Could we please ask that parents always ensure that their child has spare clothes to change into – we do lots of sensory work and art activities, and even though we always wear aprons accidents do sometimes happen!

Home-school books

Each pupil will have a home-school book so that staff and families can communicate and share information. Photographs of your child playing and working will be available via Evidence for Learning.
