    Whole school SCERTS curriculum lead

SCERTS underpins everything that we do for all of our pupils at Green Lane. SCERTS stands for: Social Communication, Emotional Regulation and Transactional supports. SCERTS is evidence-based and works on helping an individual become a confident and competent social communicator and an active learner. Green Lane uses the SCERTS model as the curriculum and assessment focus for pupils in our Elm pathway. Before pupils enter the Elm pathway, parents are invited to meet with your child’s class teacher to discuss SCERTS and complete a questionnaire together to decide which partner stage your child will be on. Pupils within the Elm pathway will be set SCERTS targets which are reviewed and shared with parents on a termly basis.

Any visiting professionals who require SCERTS support for their setting then please contact our autism leadership team through office@greenlaneschool.co.uk
