Welcome to Rabbit Class

We are a Key Stage 3 class of 13 pupils in Years 7, 8 and 9.

The staff are Mr Bennett (teacher), Mrs Oddie (teaching assistant Mon – Fri) and Mrs Williams (teaching assistant Mon-Wed).

Ms Stunnell will also teach the class for some of the sessions during the week.

PE is on a Wednesday morning so that is the day that you will need to have your kit.

Pupils are welcome to bring a healthy snack to have at break time and we also recommend that they bring their own water bottle with fresh water everyday.

Each pupil in Rabbit Class is given a home-school book. This is a way of communicating any important messages and information.

English and Maths homework is sent out in a weekly basis.

Check out the Rabbit Class page on our school website for details of the topics we will be working on this year. You can also see pictures and videos of some of the work we have done.

We are looking forward to having a fun and exciting year!

‘RD Day’

On Roald Dahl Day 2024, we discussed which Roald Dahl books we liked best and then drew a character that we thought would fit right in to one of his wonderful stories.

‘Ordering’

In maths we have been using place value to order increasingly larger numbers.

Autumn 1

‘Flower’

We have been learning about different parts of plants. We made models of plants that included roots, stems, flowers and petals.

'Seeds'

In science we have been learning about seeds. We planted some and put them in different locations in the classroom to find out what the best conditions for growing seeds are.
