PE

We have enjoyed doing gymnastics in our PE lessons this half term. We have been making different shapes with our bodies and using these shapes when jumping too!

History/Geography/Science

In our topic lessons (History and Geography) we have been looking at the history of space travel and what countries have been to space. In Science we have looked at the solar system, the role of the sun and the phases of the moon.

We have enjoyed a variety of space craft as a part of our lessons, including making our own space dust, marble space painting and baking moon rock cakes!

Autumn 2

PE – We have been enjoying developing our basketball skills this half term. We have worked on our passing and shooting skills.

Science – We have been looking at how plants work in Science. We have identified the parts of a plant; what plants need to live and grow, and we have even grown our own plants in class!

English – We enjoyed writing a letter to Santa at the beginning of this half term. We have even received a reply from the big man!

Maths – We have been working on developing our number skills in Maths. We have solved addition and subtraction skills as well as practiced our counting skills.
