Attention Autism

In Attention Autism we started with the bucket, with lots of engaging toys. We went on to make musical rain with the xylophone and rice. Squirrel class had a lovely time.

Food Technology

We made curry and rice in food technology, with pizza for the children that do not like curry. We are very proud of how many of our students can use the microwave with only minimal instruction.

Science

In Science we listened to ‘What Ever Next’ to start our science lesson all about the moon. We went on to identify different textures that we thought we might find on the moon and chose the correct symbol.

VE Day

We listened to a poem all about Victory in Europe Day, we went on to make our very own flags to wave whilst we listened to a song all about the day We also made medals in Attention Autism.

Arts Festival

Squirrel Class had an amazing time at our ‘Arts Festival’. We took part in lots of different activities, some of us even had our faces painted! We had a lovely time eating our lunch with our friends on the field and all enjoyed an ice cream afterwards.

Forest School

Forest School has been so exciting this half term. We have had the best time playing with lots of different sensory materials and swinging in hammocks. Thank you Mrs Williams for a lovely time!

Phonics

We have explored lots of different sounds in our Phonics lessons this half term. We have listened both indoor and outdoor and have experimented with different instruments.
